We invite you to view the many features of the Donald House available to you for your special event.

The house at 304 North Second Street, Yakima, was originally the home of George Donald and his family. The elegant entry has two stained glass panels. It also boasts a deep wraparound porch perfect for outdoor parties.
The entry has intricate old world wood work and the table, grandfathers’ clock and davenport are furnishings from the original home.
The reception area has antique carpets with plenty of room for a table for meeting check-in.
The large meeting room has the same carved woodwork as the entry with windows looking out to the wraparound porch. The carpets are antique with the grand piano at the front of the room. There are several ways to configure this room from classroom style table and chair seating for 60+, as a dining or meeting area with long tables and chairs, to small square tables for more intimate groups.
The main room looks beautiful set up for a reception or large party. This is a great meeting set-up as well.
The library has the original deep red flocked wallpaper, maroon velvet curtains and a small desk. There are four beautiful Chinese teak chairs and two small tables that are over 120 years old. The marble bust on the mantle and the reproduction of the Mona Lisa are also part of the original furnishings.
Starting with the two stained glass French doors leading to the wraparound porch, vintage elegance is obvious. The original dining room furniture is still used today for buffets and formal dinners. When the large table is pushed to the side, it doubles as a dance floor for receptions and parties.
The main room can also be set-up for more intimate wedding ceremonies.
You enter the wedding chapel through French doors at the top of the stairs. The décor is simple, ready for you to use your imagination for additional touches.
The stage in front of the room makes a wonderful place for the Bride and Groom to say their vows where all can see the proceedings. Imagine bride maids and grooms men on the stairs.
The chapel can also be set-up for large meetings holding up to 200 in chairs. There is a grand piano in the back of the room and a PA system if desired.
The Bride's preparation area boasts a vanity with large ornate mirror, an antique table and two antique chairs.
The Groom's preparation area displays the original wood work and plenty of space.
This commercial kitchen is a caterer’s dream with lots of counter top and preparation space. There is a commercial refrigerator, two freezers and three sinks.
There are a convection oven, two regular ovens, and a microwave for keeping your food warm. There can be no initial meal preparation.
